More than halfway through Masters Gambit.

Kinda scratching my head on this one.

From what inset by Luceno I thought this was going to be Robotech:The Movie + Cyber Pirates.

So far its Cyber Pirates + Masters scenes from RT:TM and some Luceno material.

Anyway. Pretty good stuff but more of a Tech/Political Thriller. Not much action at all.

Really picks up in the second half. Terry Weston is a great character. You get just enough to consider him very interesting. I think I prefer Masters Gambit over the 1986 RT:TM now as far as this backstory. Good stuff.
